Tee Shot on Hole #7 at Chiang Mai Lamphun Golf Course
You can play much of Chiang Mai Lamphun Golf Course without your driver, and for this hole you definitely don't need your driver. There is a lake blokcing the fairway at driving distance, so most players will choose a mid to long iron off the tee. With an iron, the lay up shot is just to advance the ball up to have a sight of the green. Ideally leaving the ball to the right side of the fairway opens up the green better, but go too far and there are 3 well placed bunkers to trap your ball. With water on the left and thick trees on the right, this is another fairway that you can't afford to miss.

Going over the lake is only the first part of the second shot. Beyond the lake the fairway slopes up to the green, which also slopes back down towards the fairway. There are trees to the left of the green, and a large bunker to the right, so there is getting onto the green isn't as easy as you'd hope.
Again the green slopes back towards the fairway. Perhaps not as steeply as hole 6, but enough to consider. To the right of the green you can visit the snack bar by the 4th tee again.
