The first tee shot just begs you to open up and smash it. Its a very long hole with a very wide fairway, so cranking it out as far as you can is the best way of giving yourself a par chance. There is water down the left side of the fairway, but aiming towards the middle of the wide fairway should take this out. There is also a lake to carry on the right, but a solid tee shot should take this out of play too.

Once on the fairway, it stays wide, so your second shot is likely to be much like the first, a case of getting it as far down the fairway as possible. This hole is a real nice opener for anyone who likes to 'drive for show'. Unless you can manage two 300 yard shots, you'll be left needing to approach the green. There are bunkers left, right and behind the green, but it is fairly large, so not the hardest green to hit.

The green slopes up to the back of the green, so if you land in front of the pin, the putt shouldn't be too hard to read.
