The 13th may be the shortest par 4 on the course, but it offers plenty of challenges of its own. The tee shot needs to carry a lake to reach the fairway. Go in the lake, and there is no drop zone to protect you.

Most hitters will be able to reach the small stream that crosses the fairway, so often a long iron is chosen off the tee. At just over 300 yards, some hitters may be tempted to go for the green, but there are plenty of dangers involved, not least the stream, but also the large bunker down the left side, and the green surrounded by water.

From the fairway you should have an uphill view of green. There is water directly to the right and behind the green, while the water to the left is a bit further away. If the pin is back right there is a very tricky approach as the green extends into the lake. Otherwise the green slopes up to a ledge halfway up the green.
