The 5th is a wide arcing par 5, that bends gradually around to the left. The hole is often used for long drive competitions, as it simply begs you to let loose on it! The ideal tee shot will leave you to the right side of the fairway, as this will really open up the hole. If you are too close to the trees on the left, you won't have as good a view of the hole.

Only if you are a really big hitter might you get a chance to go for the green in 2, so the chances are you'll be playing your 2nd shot to leave a comfortable approach shot. A big tree stands out on the left side of the fairway, so make sure you don't bring that into play. A further smaller tree sits immediately in front of the green, but if you stay to the right of the fairway this won't cause you any problems.

The green slopes down towards the front, with a few mounds to the right side.
