The 9th is a very tricky par 4. Not only is it long, but also the trees can really cause problems for players. The tee shot needs to go between 2 big trees either side of the tee box. From there the fairway opens up quite a bit, but to give yourself a chance of getting on in regulation you need to hit it straight and long. The hole bends to the right, meaning short tee shots will be obstructed by the trees on the right.

There is also a tree on the left which is likely to block your view of the green. Beyond the trees there are plenty of bunkers to hamper your progress, particularly around the green. Go over the green and the slope will take you away from the green making an up and down difficult.
