The 5th is a long par 5 which doglegs around to the left. There is no real benefit in heading to the left off the tee, and the ideal shot is down the middle of the fairway. A bunker guards the left of the fairway, followed by some well placed blocking trees. A bunker is also on the left, so aim between the bunkers and then try to get as close to the green as possible. The green has a steep slope on it, so miss your putt and you can easily turn a short 5 footer into a 3 putt misery.
