The Drunken Flower

The Drunken Flower - otherwise known as "Mao Dok Mai" is a great bar near to Nimmanhaemin, in the Chiang Mai University quarter of town.

Where is it?

The Drunken Flower is on Nimmanhaemin Soi 1. So coming from the Amari Rincome hotel (and the Rincome junction), head along Nimmanhaemin and take the first road on the left. The Drunken Flower is right at the end of the road, on the right hand side.

So why is it worth a visit? There are 2 bars at the drunken flower, one inside and one garden cocktail bar. As such there are 2 seating areas, the garden with numerous secluded tables and the indoor lounge bar. It is in the quaintly decorated lounge bar that you can expect to find live music Wednesday through Saturday from 9, perhaps by the Drunken Blues Band.
