The Pirates Cove, Chiang Mai

Oooh Argh me hearties - pieces of eight? As themed bars go, the Pirate's Cove has certainly themed itself - exclusively with pirates, and treasure island stuff. Complete with a stuffed parrot hanging in the middle of the room.

Where is it?

The Pirates Cove is a little further along from the Souvannaphoum Wine Bar, inside the moat. It is a bit further to walk away from the main bar areas of Loi Kroh though.

So, if you don't have one leg and aren't into pirate decor, why go to the Pirates Cove? Well, it does have some charm about it - if nothing else you'll be able to talk about the skull and crossbones hanging on the walls! The best thing about the Pirates Cove, in our opinion, is the free wireless internet connection, which does make it a great choice to take your laptop, surf the web while enjoying a quiet beer.
