Doi Inthanon is the highest mountain in Thailand located not far from Chiang Mai. At the top of the mountain it is much cooler than the rest of Thailand, in fact Thai's visit in winter each year in the hope of catching the morning frost! Because of this the plants and trees growing in the area are different - there is a royal project to grow plants here.
As well as visiting this project, you'll visit the temple at the top of the mountain and visit a couple of spectacular waterfalls on the way up and down the mountain. A highlight of the trip is surely the views from the minibus as you explore the mountain region.
